About us
The Primary Care Centre opened on August 15th,2007. It was founded by the late Dr Con Creedon and
Dr Tom O’Donnell, in collaboration with the HSE. In addition to accommodating the General Practice, it is
also the base for the Dunmanway Public Health Nurse team and Primary Care team meetings are held
here. The Centre is also the base for other HSE Services in the area including Community Dietitian
Clinics, Community Paediatric , Ophthalmic and Psychiatric Clinics.
Services
We offer a full range of GP services, available by appointment. Please contact 023-8855500 to make an
appointment. We will prioritise all acute and urgent cases, so please inform us if you feel your problem is
urgent. Because we sometimes have to deal with unexpected urgent cases or emergencies,
appointments can be delayed and we ask for your patience when this arises. We will do our best to
minimise delays. In addition to managing routine problems, we also offer the following services:

Insurance Policy
Nearly all major insurance plans accepted
All the main Insurance Companies cover certain procedures performed by GPs at
the Primary Care Medical Centre. Please inquire at Reception for claim forms or if
you require any further information about what procedures are covered by
insurance.

Monday-Friday: 9am to 5:30pm by appointment.
